One day you’re in the next you’re out.

Said by Heidi Klum on the absolutely fabulous ‘Project Runway’. Just this afternoon, I sat down to watch the taped episode on the Season 4 reunion. Boy, did I laugh at all the comments that they made. Out of all the seasons thus far, season 4 can be said to be my favourite season ever. To start with, this season has the best mix of designers ever. I heart Kit’s mix of bleached blond hair with blood red lipstick. The ultimate combination that denotes lethal feminine blaze. Of course, she is interesting in her own way because she adds girly charm to her personality by clipping little ribbons in her hair. And then, there was Victorya. I mean, really, I’m all for Asians. So when I saw that Project Runway had an Asian face, I was elated. Though, I think the show may have portrayed her in a stereotypical fashion. The toughie, business minded with little sense of humour. I would like to think it as being focused in knowing what to achieve. But having said that, I really like the pieces she made for the show. Oh, and there was the loving Sweet Pea. Her name is totally out of this world. When I saw her on tv, the first thought that came to my mind was ‘Miami Ink’. It’s really ironic because despite seemingly overpowering with her tattoos and muscular arms that can knock you cold, she really is ‘Sweet Pea’. The girl next door with soft feminine twirls. Ahhh… And there is this interesting personality. Rami. Rami, rami, rami. What would you say? He is the great technician, like how magicians are great illusionists. He is the god of draping. There were all these short clips of him, draping, draping and draping. I honestly thought he would get booted out of the show in the middle because he does not seem to know anything besides draping. But I’m decently surprised by his work in fashion week. Because, yes, it is draping but wearable draped pieces. And then there was Chris. The bubbly personality who fits the bill of your cool neighbour more than a designer. My favourite piece from this designer? The WWE leopard outfit. It totally rocks. But my all time favourite since the moment I watched this season has to be Christian. Every episode except the one with the prom dress, he was able to spin sophisticated designs. Oh and in his own term, “fierce” designs. What got me really tickled was when he commented on his own hairdo. “This side is for party, this side is for business and the front for making money”. He’s a walking lady in sharp blazers, equipped with cat claws and a very good fashion sense. Grrr… =) Now I can’t wait to see the fashion show next week, oh, why wasn’t this airing in Canada last year?!?!! Agonizing wait.
