Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival will be running from April 25th –May 4th, 2008. This is one of the most popular events in Miami throughout the year, and for sure the biggest event during April and May. If you are interested in good independent movie you must attend this event independently of your sexual orientations.  This Miami’s event is one of the best cultural events of our magical city that features not only amazing films, but it also features great Miami’s parties hosted around popular Miami hotels and Miami attractions. The official kick off party will be taking place at Miami’s attraction, Miami Science Museum, located at 3280 South Miami Avenue in Coconut Grove. Other event in Miami you should not miss during the Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival is the Opening Night Party that will take place at Jungle Island, one of the most popular Miami attractions close to Miami Beach, located at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami. For all fashion fans, it is the 11 Minutes Fashion Show, who will follow projects Runway’s winner, Jay McCaroll, from his documentary screening at Regal Theater. This event will take place at the Dorset at the Catalina Hotel situated at 1732 Collins Avenue, South Beach. And, of course, I could not missing from mention the Closing Gala at the Miami Art Space MA located at 244 NW 35th Street, Wynwood Art District.
