Coconut Grove Arts Festival - Miami Events

Xavier Cortada was the artists in charge of the 2008 Coconut Grove Arts Festival logo. The Coconut Groves Arts Festival was unveiled early this month by the organizers of the Miami events. This year’s poster, as all Cortada’s work, was inspired in the foliage of Miami, Florida. Cortada is well-known for his participation in the Reclamation Project that promotes man-grove re-forestation throughout South Florida’s coastline. Previos artists who have created the Coconut Grove’s posters are Rick Garcia, Maria Reyes Jones, Lisa Remeny, Clyde Butcher, and Romero Britto in 2007.
