Two N.Y. counties consider ban on painted guns
Nassau and Suffolk may join New York City in prohibiting brightly colored weapons, which may be mistaken for toys. Owning or selling brightly colored guns may soon be illegal in Nassau County because the painted weapons could pass as toys, police and county officials said Wednesday.
